Q4 2020 Performance of Top Tabletop Games on iOS in the UK

As the year 2020 came to a close, the tabletop board game apps on iOS in the United Kingdom saw various trends in user engagement and downloads. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into how these games performed during the fourth quarter.

Yahtzee® with Buddies Dice experienced a notable increase in both revenue and weekly active users, ending the quarter with $20K in revenue and over 26K active users. Downloads peaked in early October at approximately 3K but gradually decreased to around 1.5K by the end of December.

Chess - Play & Learn showed a strong upward trend in all metrics. Revenue soared to nearly $30K by the year's end, while downloads and active users also saw significant growth. The app ended the quarter with over 25K downloads and a remarkable 226K weekly active users.

For MONOPOLY: The Board Game, revenue increased dramatically in the final two weeks of December, reaching $47K. Downloads followed a similar pattern, with a sharp rise to over 4.5K in the same period. Weekly active users more than doubled from the start of the quarter, finishing at approximately 17.5K.

Backgammon - Lord of the Board saw its revenue fluctuate throughout the quarter, ending at just under $10K. Download numbers showed a gradual increase, concluding with over 1K downloads in the last week of December. Weekly active users saw a modest rise, ending at close to 10K.

Lastly, Ludo STAR witnessed an upward trajectory in revenue, reaching $9K by the end of December. Downloads saw a peak of over 4.7K in the final week, while weekly active users increased slightly to finish at around 28.5K.
